Atlantyca has been awarded the at the 2017 Governance Advisors Digital Award, in the "skills" category. The award is dedicated to recognizing the work significant accomplishments of company directors who, as a result of progressive governance, have led their companies to become leaders in digital innovation. The Governance Advisors Digital Award recognizes achievements in four distinctive categories: governance, processes, products and skills. Atlantyca's board of directors, of which Claudia Mazzucco is the CEO, was selected as an award winner of the categoriy “SKILLS” from among the 95 Italian companies that participated in the Digital Transformation Survey. The award ceremony took place on Thursday, June 22nd, at the Edison Hall, Foro Bonaparte in Milan, during a Conference on “the Competitive Advantages of Digital Transformation”. The Awards Commission honoured Atlantyca in appreciation of its formidable “digital business model, for the educational message given by its products, as well as for the level of digital skills in the research, exploitation and use of new technology that allowed a start-up to become established and develop in emerging markets." This important award was presented by Filippo Renga, Chief Operating Officer, Digital Finance Watchdog at Milan Politecnico University, to Claudia Mazzucco, Atlantyca CEO, who had this to say: "We are truly honoured and delighted to receive this award – all the more so since it was given to Atlantyca by GADA 2017 in recognition of digital skills that the children themselves have motivated us to cultivate and value. The requests we get from digital natives about stories, regardless of the MEDIUM they appear in (books, movies, TV series, video games, websites, apps ...) have shaped Atlantyca’s identity and its transmediality. Through them we learn and grow every day and they show us how the digital world can change, enrich, deepen the stories, giving them new added value and nuances that would have been inconceivable just a few years ago." This award comes in in conjunction to Atlantyca Entertainment’s 10th anniversary,, marking a decade during which it has played a leading role in the global market with hundreds of capturing stories ‘Made in Italy’ - many of which emerged from under Atlantyca’s own publishing roof – exporting them all over the world in over 50 different languages thanks to more than 6800 deals made to date since its establishment in 2007. Assigned by a selection committee made up of industry experts, the GADAs - the Governance Advisors Digital Awards - were conceived and created by Governance Advisors. The event was held under the patronage of the Confindustria Digitale - the Digital Industries Federation - in Milan, Milan City Council, with the collaboration of Milan’s Politecnico University, the Italian Association of Internal Auditors, Nedcommunity, with media partner L'Impresa, and the sponsorship of Edison.
